book quiz
Todd, by tagging me, has given me the green light to participate in the latest trendy quiz on books.
One book that has changed your life: Mere Christianity by Clive Staples Lewis
One book you have read more than once: So many to choose...The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R Tolkien.
One book that you'd want on a deserted island: The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien because I know it doesn't suck and I could read it over and over. Or the Bible.
One book that made you laugh: The book of Men by Garrison Keillor
One book that made you cry: The last book to make me cry would have been Old Yeller by Fred Gipson.
One book that you wish had been written: How I beat Tiger Woods at Golf by Daryl Deboer, Paying off your student loans in one year or less by Daryl Deboer etc etc.
One book that you wish had never been written: For this answer I would like to say the Koran, but I do not want to offend the extensive Muslim readership of my blog. And you are not supposed to offend your audience. And I could be put under a fatwa, which would suck. I don't want to end up like Salman Rushdie. So maybe I'll say the Bhagavad-Gita by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, as Hare Krishnains are less scary then Muslims. Or I will say the Koran and take my chances. But probably I'll be chicken and say the Bhagavad-Gita.
One book that you are currently reading: The Hunchback of Notre Dame by Victor Hugo
One book that you have been meaning to read: Oh man. Bad question for me...there's so many. I guess the next one on the reading list for me would be Moby Dick.

Consider yourself added to my jihad list.
(start chant) "Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Hare Hare Hare Krishna..." (end chant). Bring on those potatoes, but forget that garbage tapioca pudding!
I tried reading the Hunchback of Notre Dame in French. I made it to the third page. There's still a bookmark there and I don't think i'm going to finish anytime soon.
